HVEDC Welcomes Patrick M. Trask of Lakeland Bank to its Advisory Board

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (March 12, 2019) – The Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation (HVEDC), which has announced its intent to merge with the Westchester County Association (WCA), welcomes Patrick M. Trask, Senior Vice President at Lakeland Bank, to its Advisory Board.

Trask took his current position at Lakeland Bank in December 2017. He is the Team Leader of the New York Commercial and Middle Market Lending Team based in Highland Mills. With more than 30 years of industry experience, most of which came in the commercial banking segment for middle market clients, Trask has an ideal set of skills and experiences to advise the HVEDC board and help it accomplish its goal of creating a successful business environment in the Hudson Valley.

“I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to join the HVEDC advisory board,” said Trask. “HVEDC has been doing outstanding work for businesses in the Hudson Valley – it has been a tremendous advocate for entrepreneurs in a wide variety of industries. I look forward to contributing the knowledge and skills I have gained from a career in banking and lending.”

Before joining Lakeland, Trask served as a Senior Vice President at Webster Bank in White Plains and also worked with TD Bank, JPMorgan Chase & Co, Bank of New York and HSBC Bank USA, where he worked for more than 25 years. Trask earned a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and served as squad leader/corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. He currently lives in Pleasant Valley, making him very familiar with the Hudson Valley region.

“Patrick is an excellent addition to the HVEDC Advisory Board, and we are excited to welcome him to the team,” said Mike Oates, President and CEO of HVEDC. “His experience in the financial sector, particularly when it comes to working with commercial lending, will be extremely valuable for our board and for Hudson Valley businesses.”

Trask also serves on the Advisory Board of Food Bank of the Hudson Valley and is a Board Member of Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress.
