HVEDC Welcomes Joseph A. Volpe of The Pike Company to its Advisory Board

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (October 15, 2019) – Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp. (HVEDC) announced the addition of Joseph A. Volpe, Project Executive for The Pike Company (part of The Pike Companies, LTD), to its Advisory Board.

The Pike Companies, LTD is a fifth-generation construction business operating two construction companies – The Pike Company, Inc. and LECESSE Construction Services. The Pike Company has maintained its standing as one of the leading builders with a rigorous focus on project management, work quality and client satisfaction, and prides itself on “Building Relationships Since 1873,” providing construction services to non-residential markets. Some of the company’s areas of concentration include technical manufacturing, healthcare, national accounts and building relationships across the Northeast.

Volpe’s responsibilities include business development, building new relationships and developing strategic alliances with clients and key influencers. His geographic focus includes the Hudson Valley, as he works out of The Pike Company’s Albany and Tarrytown offices.

Volpe has worked in the design and construction industry for 37 years. Before joining The Pike Company, he was a principal at a large architecture and engineering firm. His portfolio includes projects ranging from $1 million to $450 million, all over the world.

Outside of his work with The Pike Company, Volpe is a member of the Board of Directors of Homeless and Travelers Aid Society (HATAS), an organization that provides immediate relief and long-term solutions for the most vulnerable members of the community by preventing, combatting and reducing homelessness within the Capital Region.
