HVEDC Welcomes James Edwards of C.T. Male Associates to Its Advisory Board

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (February 13, 2020) – Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp. (HVEDC) announced the addition of C.T. Male Associates Engineering, Surveying, Architecture, Landscape Architecture & Geology, D.P.C. (C.T. Male) to its Advisory Board. The company will be represented on the Board by its VP of Regional Office Development, James R. Edwards, P.E.

James R. Edwards, P.E. serves as C.T. Male’s VP of Regional Office Development. Edwards joined C.T. Male in 1993 and brought with him years of experience in the areas of transportation design and environmental services, as well as water, wastewater and storm water infrastructure. In addition to management responsibilities at the firm, Edwards also acts as Project Manager for multiple projects, responsible for project development and planning, design and quality control efforts, project financial oversight and the preparation of construction documents and construction phase services. Edwards and his team work primarily in the public sector, and routinely partner with private entities, state agencies and institutions of higher education to help plan, design and oversee many other project types. Among his many notable projects in the Hudson Valley region and beyond, Edwards played a key role in the Chambers Street streetscape improvements project in the City of Newburgh, N.Y.

Edwards recently assumed the additional role of Risk Manager with C.T. Male, and works closely with Project Management, QA/QC and outside advisors to maintain the firm’s standard of excellence. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of New York. He is a member of the NYS Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers and American Water Works Association. Edwards also serves as a designated representative for both the Adirondack Chamber of Commerce and Warren and Saratoga Counties Town Highway Associations.
