HVEDC’s annual program is an educational forum and networking opportunity for craft beverage entrepreneurs in the Hudson Valley region. The event, now in its fifth year, is the largest event of its kind in New York State, drawing a crowd of 400. It is a collaborative effort among HVEDC, The Culinary Institute of America and the state – through its Taste NY initiative.
The goals of the Summit are:
- Provide mentors from established regional businesses and industry experts.
- Introduce entrepreneurs to their peers, and in turn help them learn from each other and work together.
- Create a resource for attendees to have a voice at the state level, so they may provide feedback to regulation changes and have business support services.
- Show attendees that success is attainable and that the region is friendly toward their industry.
The Summit continues to have widespread community support and gains more traction each year, making it the industry’s most-anticipated annual event in the region.
